Kate in topless greeting twist
A traditional welcome for a princess in the Solomon Islands. As the royal tour continues, topless women present necklaces to Britain's Prince William and his wife the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton.
At the same time, on the other side of the world, semi-naked pictures of the future Queen are hitting news-stands in an Italian gossip magazine. Defying risks of legal action, Italy's Chi (pronounced: Key) magazine has a large topless image of the duchess on its front page.
The headline says "Scandal at Court: the Queen is naked" -- but most Italians weren't too shocked.

Less than a week after topless photographs of the Duchess of Cambridge were published by French magazine Closer, it's clear many people around the world want a glimpse of the salacious shots.
Traffic site Alexa showed traffic to Closer's website boosted 1600 per cent on Friday, but dropped quickly because the photographs were not there, The Guardian reported.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reacted with "anger and disbelief" after the publication of topless photos of Kate in a French magazine, believing "a red line has been crossed".
The couple "have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner", Clarence House said.
The magazine, Closer, has exclusive pictures of Kate topless on the terrace of a private chateau owned by the Queen's nephew Lord Linley.

Topless Kate photos: royals sue Closer
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have launched legal proceedings in France against the Silvio Berlusconi-owned celebrity magazine which published photographs of the duchess sunbathing topless, in a bid to put a line in the sand and stop any future invasion of the royal couple's privacy.
The move comes hours after St James's Palace roundly condemned the move by Closer magazine, which is owned by the former Italian president Berlusconi's publishing empire Mondadori.
In a statement, a spokesman for the couple said: "St James's Palace confirms that legal proceedings for breach of privacy have been commenced today in France by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge against the editor and publishers of Closer magazine, France."

British royals take legal action over Kate topless photos
An angry Prince William and his wife Catherine launched legal action on Friday against a French magazine that printed topless photographs of her.
The publication of the pictures of the former Kate Middleton, taken while she and the second in line to the throne were on holiday in the south of France, evoked memories of the press harassment of William's mother Diana.

Duchess of Cambridge 'saddened' by topless photos claim
Closer magazine has said it has exclusive pictures of Kate topless on the terrace of a guest house, taken during a brief holiday she enjoyed with William in France last week.
